I picked up some cute fluted plates the other day when shopping with my sister. They are so cute but also super versatile: I used one decoratively in our TV stand, I stacked them on some open shelves we have in our dining room and also thought they could be a cute way to hold jewelry at the sink or in a bedroom. Keep your eye out for pretty dishes when you're up and about and shopping --they can be used in so many fun ways!

I love finding things second hand to breath new life into my home because I can apply ever changing trends without breaking the bank later. Plus if I need to make an update, I'm not afraid to just donate it! I found a set of off white pleated lamp shades thrifting. They added just the right amount of texture and charm to our TV area and bonus, if you find a screen saver on YouTube, it can look like art!

SCALLOP WALL

I have been doing some probono work for our church and l found a super easy tutorial on wall scallops that came with a printable template. I have been working on the church nursery and I wanted a easy quick but classic feature wall. Supplies are simple: a pencil, a level, the template, and paint! I followed this tutorial on Pinterest. This took me about an hour to knock out and the impact is so delightful! You could use this in so many places, but particularly kids rooms!
